Privacy policy
Noticed collects nothing.
Your sits, check-ins and notes stay on your phone. We never see them.
Effective 5 October 2026. This policy covers the Noticed app for iPhone and Android.
What we collect
Nothing. Noticed has no account, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking. The app makes no network requests of its own. It contains no third-party analytics or advertising code.
What stays on your phone
Everything you enter is stored only on your device:
- your sits, check-in answers, the sentence you bring to the next sit, and your reviews;
- your settings, such as sit length, sounds and reminder time;
- a copy of your book, if you choose to add a PDF you own. That copy is kept in the app's private storage and is left out of device backups.
Reminders and sit bells are scheduled by your phone's own notification system. Nothing about them leaves the device.
Backups
Your phone's own backup (iCloud on iPhone, Google backup on Android) may include the practice log, under your Apple or Google account and their terms. We have no access to it.
"Back up your sits" in Settings makes a file and hands it to the share sheet. Where that file goes is your choice. We never receive it.
Crash reports
If you have agreed to share diagnostics with Apple or Google, they may pass anonymous crash reports to us through App Store Connect or Google Play Console. These contain technical details about the crash, not your sits or notes.
Deleting your data
Settings → Erase everything deletes every sit, review and setting, and the book's copy. Deleting the app does the same. There is no copy on any server, because there is no server.
Children
Noticed is not directed to children under 13, and it collects no information from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date. If the app ever begins to collect anything, it will ask you first.
