# Noticed > Noticed is a private meditation journal and bell timer for iPhone and Android, made as a companion for the ten-stage meditation path described in the book The Mind Illuminated. After each sit, a few plain questions name what led the sit, and the app reads the person's working stage from many sits. It has no account and no analytics, and everything stays on the phone. Key facts: - Name: Noticed (store name "Noticed: Meditation Journal"). Website: https://noticedmind.app - What it is: a guided meditation timer, a short post-sit check-in, a stage map, a sit history, and short lessons. - Made for: people practising the ten stages of The Mind Illuminated. Independent; not affiliated with or endorsed by the book's authors or publishers, and it contains no text from the book. - Platforms: iPhone (iOS) and Android phones. Language: English. - Privacy: no account, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising, no network requests of its own. Data stays on the device. Backups are files the person keeps. Settings → Erase everything deletes all data. - The timer: a preparation, the main sit and a closing; soft bells and one short spoken line at each change; length 5 to 60 minutes; optional background sound (rain, a stream, the ocean, a hearth); tap anywhere to mark each moment the mind is noticed wandering. Bells ring with the phone locked. - The check-in: plain questions about what happened (did attention leave, did sleepiness come, what was in front). The result names what led the sit (for example forgetting, mind-wandering, dullness or distraction) and what to try next, and keeps one sentence to bring to the next sit. - Stage placement: the working stage is the earliest stage whose obstacle still leads at least a quarter of the last ten sits, and at least two of them, so one unusual sit never moves it. From Stage 5 on, the app suggests confirming the reading with a teacher. - The book: section titles are shown either way; if the person owns the book as a PDF they can add it, and the app opens the matching section. The file stays on the phone. - No streaks and no scores. - Not medical or mental-health care. - Contact: support@noticedmind.app ## Pages - [Home](https://noticedmind.app/): what Noticed does, the ten stages in the app's words, privacy, and frequently asked questions - [Privacy policy](https://noticedmind.app/privacy/): Noticed collects no data - [Support](https://noticedmind.app/support/): help, moving to a new phone, notifications, contact
